Connexion... aims
to provide a forum for single people to meet new friends and enjoy
an active and varied social life.

Membership
is open to men and women over the
age of forty who are single, divorced, separated,
widowed and unattached.

Membership
of The Connexion...
is voluntary, and does not preclude individuals from joining other
organisations for single people.

The
Connexion... is not a Dating Agency or a Counselling
Service.

The
Connexion... is not affiliated
to any religous or political body, and regards such matters as private
issues for each individual.

The
Connexion... reserves
the right to refuse membership to any individual without disclosing
reasons.

All
personal details of individual members remain confidential and are
not disclosed to other members without permission, or to any other
organisation.

Participation by members in activities is voluntary, and The
Connexion... accepts
no liability for any loss, damage or injury caused to, or suffered
by a member at any event.

A
non-refundable deposit of £5 is required when booking most events. When
a member does not inform the organiser of their cancellation until
after the organiser has paid the total cost, the member is liable
for payment in full.

The
Connexion... accepts
no liability for non-availability of places at events, or cancellations,
other than the return of any payment that has been made.

Any
member who introduces a new member to The
Connexion... will
be entitled
to a £2.50 credit for each introduction against their renewal
fee.

Any
member who organises an activity, and advertises it on the monthly
Newsletter, will be entitled to a £2.50 credit for each event
against their renewal fee.

Membership
Fees for 2003/2004 are as follows:

In
exceptional circumstances membership may be terminated with immediate
effect.

signature of an applicant on the Application Form signifies full acceptance
of the Conditions of Membership.
